Children

Most people treat children like children,

but expect them to behave like adults.

I treat my children like adults - that is where they learn how to treat others,

and allow them to behave like children - that is what they are, and will be adults before I know it.

Think about it!

You are definately on to something. I often get comments about how well my children behave in stores, public places, etc. I have ALWAYS had them with me. Even as babies and messy/noisy toddlers, they went with me to the post office, the grocery store, the doctors for MY appointments, etc. Such is the life of a homeschooler. By going and doing these "grown up things" they learned what I expected very quickly.

My kids love errand day most days...and that makes me pretty thankful!

That is so true. I always try to have a positive comment about my children when people in stores make comments about how many I have.
