Pretty Pantry

I had to clear out the back pantry shelves to make room for my hubby to put up more shelves.  It seems I have maxed out the limits of our "large" pantry.

I love the colors of the canning jars.  It is making me think of breezes, colorful leaves, wood fires....deep sigh.

And, voila!  The unpainted shelves are the new ones.  I think I will wait to paint them (if ever) late winter, when my stores are a little more slim.  I didn't relish (relish!  get it?) the thought of leaving all my canned goodies on the counter long enough for paint to cure on the shelves.

Next remove the baker's rack you can barely see on the left and replace that with a wall filled with shelves.  More space makes me happy!

When I see the loaded shelves, I can understand why you've been 'missing in action'! I must say that it all looks great as well as tasty.

You and your hubby are very skilled! I wish I had your talent for making and fixing things. Your pantry is my dream. Lovely colors in all those jars!

Thanks Rev. Colin. Thanks Michelle. It is all complete now. I just haven't had the time or desire to most more lately.
